Policies

 

Disney PhotoPass photos, dining photos and attraction photos in your account will expire 45 days from the date the photo was taken. If you would like to extend the expiration date to 60 days from the date the photo was taken, you may purchase an expiration extension. All photos in your account as of the day the expiration extension is purchased will now expire 60 days from the date the photo was taken (instead of 45 days).

Expiration dates of photos may only be extended once.

Disney does not offer options for permanent storing of photos or other digital content. Expired photos and other digital content will be deleted from the system. Expired photos will be deleted from the system.

To view the expiration date of a photo in your gallery, select to enlarge the photo. Beneath the enlarged photo, the expiration date will appear.

Please note that the individual expiration date for each photo may vary. Disney reserves the right to not upload photos which are deemed to be of poor quality and/or contain content that might be deemed to be offensive. Subject to restrictions and change without notice.

Photo Expiration Extension

If you need more time, you may purchase a one-time 15-day extension for the Disney PhotoPass photos, dining photos and attraction photos and video in your account. To purchase a photo extension, hover over the “Hello (Your Name)” drop down menu and select “Buy Photo Extension.” Upon completion of your order, your expiration date will be set to 60 days from your original taken or capture date of the photo. Your new expiration date will display on your photo when you view them one-by-one. You will need to log out and log back in after you purchase the photo extension to view the updated photo expiration date(s).

Please note that the individual expiration date for each photo may vary.

Your Uploaded/Imported Photos

The photos that you upload/import for use in a Photo product will be available for 45 days after they have been uploaded/imported.

Disney Premier, Platinum Plus, Platinum, or Gold Annual Passholders

If you are a Disney Premier, Disney Platinum Plus, Disney Platinum, or Disney Gold annual passholder, all photos and other digital content associated with your Disney account that were taken at Walt Disney World Resort (and Disneyland Resort, if applicable) by Disney PhotoPass photographers, as well as photos and other digital content taken on select attractions and at select dining locations while your qualifying annual pass is valid for admission to a Walt Disney World or Disneyland theme park will be available for download until they expire 365 days after they are captured. All photos or other digital content, as available, captured before or after the period that your qualifying annual passport is valid for admission to a Walt Disney World or Disneyland theme park will expire 45 days from the date the photo was taken.

Disney Photo Prints, Greeting Cards, Keepsakes and Photo Books

If you are not satisfied with the quality of any product you purchased from our web site, please return the product in its original packaging, along with its corresponding Return Form, within 14 days of receiving it and we can refund your credit card or re-produce your order and send it to you.

Disney PhotoPass Archive Disc

Since Disney PhotoPass Archive Disc is a personalized product, our policy is to refund or reproduce your product only due to damage or shipping error.

Note: We are not responsible for spelling errors in your finished product and will not issue refunds or re-produce your product due to misspellings. We cannot make changes to the contents of an order after it has been processed. We strongly recommend that you review your entire order and carefully review all text in any products containing text prior to submitting your order.

These Terms and Conditions apply in addition to, and not in lieu of, the Disney Interactive Terms of Use found here. Copyright Policy, Restrictions on use of Materials

All photographs captured by the Disney PhotoPass Service are owned and copyright protected by Disney. Please be aware that it is illegal to reproduce or distribute copyrighted material without the permission of the copyright owner. Purchased prints and other products may not be reproduced without permission from Disney. Accessing pictures or text provided on web sites does not give you any rights to use them. Only the copyright owner, or the owner's legal agent, can grant permission to copy, distribute, or publicly display protected material.

Purchasers of Disney PhotoPass photo downloads receive, and such photos are subject to, a limited license for personal, non-commercial use of the downloaded photos and other digital content, as available. Download Limited License

We reserve the right to remove or refuse to post photos or other digital content of poor quality or photos or other digital content with inappropriate or offensive subject matter in our sole discretion.

Storage Policy and Photo Availability

Disney PhotoPass photos linked to a Disney account are usually available online within 24 hours after the photos were taken. Guests must claim photos before they expire. All photos and other digital content, as available, will expire pursuant to the expiration policy. We do not offer options for permanent storing of photos or other digital content. Expired photos and other digital content will be deleted from the system. Disney reserves the right to remove or refuse to post or upload any photos in our sole discretion, including photos that contain content that might be deemed to be offensive.

Availability and Delivery

Receipt of your order does not guarantee that we can supply the selected products to you. All the Disney PhotoPass products are subject to availability and we must therefore reserve the right: to limit quantities of products we supply; to supply only part of an order or to divide up orders; to alter the availability and duration of, and to terminate at any time, any special offers. We will not charge your credit card unless, or to the extent, we are able to deliver the products to you as ordered.

We will use all reasonable means to ensure your purchases are delivered promptly but we cannot guarantee that there will be no delays in delivery, and accept no liability or responsibility for delayed delivery of products.

Prices and Payment

Please note that the prices of products offered on the site do not include sales tax, if any, and shipping costs which vary depending on delivery option and location. Prices are subject to change at any time prior to acceptance of your order and in case of a change we shall notify you and ask whether you still wish to proceed. Payment for products shall be made by credit card.

Return Policy

When you purchase a license to a Disney PhotoPass photo download, you will be given an opportunity to consent to delivery at the time of purchase. By consenting to delivery, you acknowledge that you have lost the right to cancel and the license purchase fee is non-refundable.

The following terms are applicable if you have purchased Memory Maker

Memory Maker is non-refundable (except if purchased as part of a Magic Your Way vacation package) and non-transferable. When purchased as part of a Magic Your Way vacation package, Memory Maker is subject to the cancellation and refund policies of the Magic Your Way vacation package.

A MagicBand may be required to receive certain attraction photos and other digital content. MagicBands are not included with Memory Maker but may be purchased separately.

With the purchase of Memory Maker you will be able to download or unlock photos and other digital content associated with your Disney account that were taken at Walt Disney World Resort by Disney PhotoPass photographers, as well as photos and other digital content taken on select attractions and at select dining locations while your Memory Maker is active (the “Memory Maker Window”). You will also receive a limited license for personal, non-commercial use of the downloaded or unlocked photos and other digital content.

If you have purchased Memory Maker One Day, the Memory Maker Window begins at 6:00 a.m. Eastern Time on (i) the day you use the one-day theme park admission with which Memory Maker is bundled at purchase or (ii) if Memory Maker was purchased separately, the date of the photo selected on the My Disney Experience app or, if applicable, on MyDisneyPhotoPass.com when purchasing Memory Maker or when linking a previously purchased Memory Maker code to your Disney account and ends at 5:59 a.m. Eastern Time on the following day.

If you have purchased standard (30 days) Memory Maker at the advance purchase price, you must wait at least three (3) days after the date Memory Maker was purchased before your Memory Maker Window can begin. After that time, your Memory Maker Window begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time on the date you first download or unlock any Disney PhotoPass photo or other digital content on mydisneyphotopass.com or the My Disney Experience app , and ends on the 30th day following such download or unlock date at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. When purchased at the advance purchase price, unexpired photos and other digital content that are in your Disney account prior to the start of your Memory Maker Window are not included in your Memory Maker purchase.

If you have purchased standard (30 days)Memory Maker at the , you do not have a waiting period before your Memory Maker Window can begin. When purchased at the regular price, the Memory Maker Window begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time on the date you first download or unlock any Disney PhotoPass photos or other digital content on mydisneyphotopass.com or the My Disney Experience app, and ends on the 30th day after such unlock or download date at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time. When purchased at the regular price, your Memory Maker purchase also includes all unexpired photos and other digital content in your account at the time your Memory Maker purchase is linked to your Disney account.

All other photos or other digital content captured outside of your Memory Maker Window must be purchased separately. Certain digital content may not be available for purchase on an individual item basis.

Memory Maker may be linked to only one (1) guest. Only the person who has Memory Maker linked to their Disney account (“Memory Maker Guest”) is entitled to download or unlock the photos and other digital content captured during the Memory Maker Window.

Photos and other digital content taken during the Memory Maker Window must be downloaded before they expire. All photos and other digital content will expire pursuant to the expiration policy. We do not offer options for permanent storing of photos or other digital content. Expired photos and other digital content will be deleted from the system.

The Memory Maker Guest will have the ability to download or unlock unexpired photos and other digital content shared by members of the Memory Maker Guest’s Family & Friends list during their Memory Maker Window. Memory Maker and the ability to download or unlock shared photos and other digital content is intended for the personal use of the Memory Maker Guest only. Downloading or unlocking, or offering to download or unlock, Disney PhotoPass photos or other digital content for the benefit of other guests, including for the benefit of individuals on the Memory Maker Guest’s Family and Friends list, whether or not the Memory Maker Guest solicits or accepts any consideration or remuneration for Disney PhotoPass photos or other digital content, is a violation of these Terms and Conditions and the limited license granted to the Memory Maker Guest. Violations may result in removal of all images associated with the Memory Maker Guest’s account and termination of the Memory Maker Guest’s Disney account. We reserve the right in our sole discretion, including based on usage patterns, to conclude that a Memory Maker Guest is in violation of these Terms and Conditions. Photo sharing benefits are subject to change without notice.

Photos and other digital content sold by or captured for Personalized Storybooks, Wild Africa Trek photos, ESPN Wide World of Sports Gameday Photos Service, Disney Fairy Tale Weddings, Disney Fine Art Photography or Disney Event Group (including but not limited to group and convention photos and family portrait sessions) or by third party operators at the Walt Disney World® Resort are not included in Memory Maker.

Guests who purchase Memory Maker as part of a Magic Your Way vacation package or as an add-on to a Disney Resort hotel reservation must link their Magic Your Way vacation package reservation or Disney Resort hotel reservation to their Disney account. Upon linking their reservation, Memory Maker will automatically be linked to the reservation’s primary guest’s Disney account. Guests who purchase Memory Maker in any other manner must link their Memory Maker Card number or confirmation number to their Disney account in order to use Memory Maker.

Your Memory Maker Card is a RF Device as defined in the “Radio Frequency Cards and MagicBands” section of the MyMagic+ Terms and Conditions. Please be aware that all RF Devices linked to your My Disney Experience account, including a Memory Maker Card, can be used to access other entitlements also linked to your account, such as park admission, FastPass+ selections and touch to pay (if available). Please keep all RF Devices safe and secure.

We reserve the right to remove or refuse to post photos or other digital content of poor quality or photos or other digital content with inappropriate or offensive subject matter in our sole discretion.

We are not responsible for missing, lost or damaged photos or other digital content. Registration is required.

With the purchase of a Gold, Platinum, or Platinum Plus Annual Pass or a Premier Annual Passport (“Qualifying Annual Pass”), you will be entitled to download all photos and other digital content associated with your Disney account that were taken at Walt Disney World Resort (and Disneyland Resort, if applicable) by Disney PhotoPass photographers, as well as photos and other digital content taken on select attractions and at select dining locations while your Qualifying Annual Pass is valid for admission to a Walt Disney World or Disneyland theme park. You will also receive a limited license for personal, non-commercial use of the downloaded photos and other digital content.

A Magic Band may be required to receive certain attraction photos and other digital content.

All photos or other digital content captured before or after the period your Qualifying Annual Pass is valid for admission to a Walt Disney World or Disneyland theme park must be purchased separately. Certain digital content may not be available for purchase on an individual item basis.

The AP Guest will have the ability to download any photos and other digital content shared by members of the AP Guest’s Family & Friend list. The Qualifying Annual Pass Disney PhotoPass benefit and the ability to download shared photos and other digital content is intended for the personal use of the AP Guest only. Downloading or offering to download, Disney PhotoPass photos or other digital content for the benefit of other guests, including for the benefit of individuals on the AP Guest’s Family and Friends list, whether or not the AP Guest solicits or accepts any consideration or remuneration for Disney PhotoPass photos or other digital content, is a violation of these Terms and Conditions and the limited license granted to the AP Guest. Violations may result in removal of all images associated with the AP Guest’s account and termination of the AP Guest’s Disney account. We reserve the right in our sole discretion, including based on usage patterns, to conclude that an AP Guest is in violation of these Terms and Conditions. Our prices do not include duties or value-added taxes. If assessed, these charges are the responsibility of the package recipient, who will be billed for them by the local Customs office. Please keep this in mind if you are shipping your order to a recipient outside the U.S.

Disney PhotoPass Archive Disc

Disney PhotoPass Archive Disc comes with a limited license agreement which grants permission to reproduce the photos on the disk for personal use only. The copyright agreement is stored on the disc itself and is located in the main directory. Instructions on how to access this file are located on the back of the DVD case . You may need to present this agreement to your photo retailer when you create prints of your Disney PhotoPass photos.

Disney Photo Downloads

Disney Photo Downloads come with a limited license agreement granting permission to reproduce the photo inside the .zip file for personal use only. The copyright agreement is stored inside of the .zip file. You may need to present this agreement to your photo retailer when you create prints of your Disney PhotoPass photos.

  • Respect copyright - No photos for which you have not obtained the necessary permission from the photographer

If you upload/import Personal Photos that violate our Terms and Conditions, the photos will be rejected, your order will be cancelled, any projects containing the rejected photos will be removed from your account, and your access to Disney PhotoPass service may be suspended or terminated.

Technical Specifications

The image format must be .jpg or .jpeg, and photos with a maximum dimension of 3009 pixels or over will be resized to a 3008 pixel maximum dimension. Minimum allowable size is 640 x 480 pixels. All photos will be optimized for online usage upon upload. You are responsible for creating back-ups of any content you upload to Disney PhotoPass site . Your personal photos will expire 45 days after they are uploaded and can only be used to help create photo gift products. MyDisneyPhotoPass.com does not offer options for permanent storing of photos.
